Some gilding is lost and a faded quote along the bottom says

Bottom is marked Manufactured in Sonneberg
Nice condition, no significant damage, the bottom shows a makers imperfection. The bird that is part of the whistle handle has a bit of rough flea biting. It still makes a loud sound when blown into.
