It depicts a faithful springer spaniel (English or Welsh) dutifully bringing game to a sleeping hunter (Pere Gobin, Father Gobin). Very cute.
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture measures about 8.5 x 5.5 inches, with a French caption below.
The caption reads: Le chien du pere Gobin
which roughly translates to: The dog of Father Gobin
A second page is included with a long story on the back about the picture.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
