It depicts two springer spaniel (English or Welsh) flushing a pheasant. Beautiful dogs.
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture measures about 8.5 x 5,5 inches, with a French caption below.
The caption reads: Les Chasses d'Automne: Le Faisan
which roughly translates to: The Autumn Hunts: The Pheasant
