Leitchfield, KY Public School Mug Wheelock Germany Souvenir Cup Vintage Colorized
This is an unusual piece of souvenir china in the shape of the mug. The colorized drawing is on the front and the single handle is on the back. Looks like a mini-beer mug!
The vintage mug is in white with a colorized drawing of the lovely Public School, Leitchfield, Kentucky, complete with weathervane on top of the steeple. Accent paint and stripes are in brown.
Stamped on the front: Col. Public School, Leitchfield, KY.
Stamped on the bottom: Wheelock Made in Germany for R. L. Moormann Leitchfield, KY. Dresden
Measures 3-1/2 inches in height x 3-1/4 inches across at its widest point to the handle.
Very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or flea bites. Very clean. Paint is strong with only minimal age-related loss. Any irregularities are from manufacture.
