Creative Kaga-nuri is an ingenious idea of Negoro-nuri, which is derived from Negoroji Temple in Wakayama Prefecture.
Negoro-nuri is made by applying black lacquer to the undercoat and vermilion to the topcoat. Even if the amount of vermilion is reduced, the underlying black lacquer looks like a scratch, and it is a gem with a beautiful expression of "rubbing wear".
Polished Japanese lacquer finish makes you feel a richer texture.

The paulownia box, which is said to be the most suitable material for storing lacquer products, uses high-quality Japanese paulownia with fine grain. We use a durable Sanada string that is hard to stretch. The storage bag is made by cutting the unwound silk kimono fabric and hand-crafting each one up to the nails.
