VINTAGE WOOD MILLINERY HAT STRETCHER WOOD THREAD CENTER ROD 6 3/8" ?

Description

Excellent example of vintage millinery items for the shop or personal use.  This stretcher is marked on the bottom with a 6 and 3/8 (?) fractional number looks like it has been stamped twice so is hard to confirm.  Measures 6.75" by 5.75" on top and 7 1/8" by 6.25" on the bottom when closed.  Extends to length of 8.25" with ease of movement of the center piece.  The is part of a paper label still attached that you can see - not a chip in the wood.  I have done nothing to clean as I leave that to buyers so I don't alter anything they heave an interest in.  Please refer to pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding.
